Welcome To My Home Page (Under Construction)
Hello,
My name is Jason and I recently discovered Poi. I started my interest going to rave parties and twirling glowsticks. Then I discovered Fire, The rest is history.
This is me.
My friend took some new pictures of me spinning. Check out the Photo page for some great pictures.

If you would like to make your oun set of Poi/Fire Poi check out the links section and visit the Home Of Poi for full instructions.

This is VERY DANGEROUS!!!
I can not stress enough the saftey that needs to be taken before you "play" with fire.

Please take the time to read the Fire Safety Page and really take the information to heart.

"Poi" is the Maori word for "ball"
The Poi was used, many years ago, by the indigenous Maori people of New Zealand to increase their flexibility and strength in their hands and arms as well as improving coordination. The Poi dance was originally used by the Maori women for keeping their hands flexible for weaving and by the men for strength and coordination required during battle.
